The idea behind this website is to provide an additional information source for High and Low Bentham,

Resident and Visitor alike. It is for registered users to log in and submit their own information.

Therefore we have installed a few facilities which we hope you may find useful,

There is a Directory of trades and businesses where the entries can be created by the logged in user  and then updated as and when required.

( It really is that easy, but should you need help then email us.)

Our classified ads has been re-introduced, if there is a category you feel we have missed out, let us know via our contact page.

If you have a function or event you wish to publicise, either use the contact form and tell us about it, then we can include it in our list.

Or register for an account,  you can then log in with your username and password and post your own stuff,  Update or remove when you wish.

If you want us to publish an event for you, please include a telephone number so we can verify the details before publication.

All submissions are checked , So don't expect your stuff to appear straight away, Worst case is checks are done once a day.

A little about : Bentham and Ingleton First responders.

A group of Men and Women who have been trained to attend cases of Heart attack or Strokes.

The idea is that given the rather remote area we live in and the stretched ambulance service,

someone with training will get to the victim quick enough to save a life.

Ambulances are always sent to these cases, but could be delayed due to traffic,

attending a previous incident, or simply miles away.

First responders in this group are NOT called to any other type of incident.

First responders are called out by the North Yorkshire Ambulance control centre only.

If you would like to help the community by being trained to save a life, we would love to hear from you.

Responders are under no contract or commitment, If you are unable to be on call at anytime, Just say so.

If you are on call and need to sign off for an hour or so, No problem, just call in and say so.

We meet once a month on the third Wednesday in the month, at 7pm, for training, updates and coffee and biscuits.
